The fine print, kept short.
The terms governing your use of Ympruve plugins, the customer portal, and related services.
Last updated: May 11, 2026
Plain language where possible. If anything here conflicts with a written agreement we've signed with you, the signed agreement wins.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, purchasing a license, or downloading any Ympruve plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
License
Ympruve plugins are licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the plugin(s) on the number of sites permitted by your plan:
- Single Site — one production WordPress install.
- 5 Sites — up to five production WordPress installs.
- Unlimited — any number of WordPress installs you own or directly manage.
Plugin source code is licensed under GPL v2+ where applicable; this section governs updates, support, and access to the customer portal.
Subscriptions and billing
Annual plans renew automatically on the anniversary of purchase unless cancelled. Lifetime plans are a one-time payment with no recurring charges. All prices are in US Dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes.
You may cancel an annual subscription at any time through the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to updates and support continues until the end of the paid period.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If a plugin doesn't work for your use case, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. See our Refunds Policy for full details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute Ympruve plugins or license keys;
- circumvent license verification, update checks, or activation limits;
- use Ympruve plugins to violate any applicable law or third-party right;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the customer portal or backend infrastructure.
Updates and support
Active licenses receive plugin updates and access to support during the license period. After an annual license expires, the plugin continues to function but stops receiving updates and support until renewed.
Lifetime licenses receive updates and support for the lifetime of the plugin. We reserve the right to discontinue a plugin with reasonable notice if it is no longer viable to maintain; in such cases, lifetime customers will receive a comparable replacement or a prorated refund.
Intellectual property
The Ympruve name, logo, branding, and customer portal are the exclusive property of Ympruve. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms or the GPL are reserved.
Disclaimer of warranties
The plugins and customer portal are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what is described in product documentation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ympruve's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the customer portal ends, but the plugin source code installed on your sites remains under its applicable open-source license.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or a notice in the customer portal at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
