Cookies, explained plainly.
What we store, why, and how to change your mind whenever you like.
Last updated: June 18, 2026 · Policy version: 2026-06-18-v1
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use a few that are strictly necessary to run the portal, and — only with your consent — optional ones for analytics, marketing, and remembering preferences. Optional cookies are off by default.
Necessary vs. optional cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work — authentication and sessions, security, CSRF protection, basic functionality, and storing your consent choice. They are always on and cannot be turned off.
Optional cookies are only set after you opt in:
- Analytics — understand how the site is used (e.g. Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar).
- Marketing — measure and personalise advertising (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, retargeting and affiliate tracking).
- Preferences — remember theme, language, currency, region, and other UI settings.
We do not load analytics or marketing scripts until you grant the matching consent category.
How to change your consent
You can review or change your choices at any time. Open the link in the footer, toggle the categories you want, and save. Turning a category off stops the related scripts from loading and clears the associated cookies on your next visit.
If we materially update this policy, we increment the policy version and show the consent banner again so you can re-confirm your choices.
