Privacy Policy

Your data, handled with care.

What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get it back or remove it.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web without consent. We collect the minimum needed to deliver our plugins and run the business behind them.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
  • Billing information — billing address and payment metadata. Card details are processed and stored by Freemius; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • License activity — sites where your licenses are activated, plugin versions, and update checks.
  • Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security and performance.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain our plugins and customer portal;
  • process transactions and deliver license keys and downloads;
  • send transactional emails (purchase receipts, license expiration, security alerts);
  • respond to support requests and pre-sales questions;
  • detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate Ympruve:

  • Freemius — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Email delivery provider — transactional email (receipts, license notifications).
  • Hosting and CDN providers — application hosting and plugin file delivery.

Optional analytics and marketing providers (where enabled) only receive data after you grant the relevant cookie consent. Each provider is bound by its own privacy policy and a data-processing agreement where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your account and associated data;
  • export your data in a portable format;
  • object to or restrict certain processing activities;
  • withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days unless required for security investigations.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data — encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, scoped access controls, and regular dependency updates. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or a notice in the customer portal. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
